Building Rich Internet Applications with JBoss RichFaces.

Presenter: Max Katz, Exadel
Moderator: Charley Cowens, Exadel
Length: 1 hour

Overview:
Web 2.0 or Rich Internet Applications have taken the Web development world by storm. JavaServer Faces (JSF) is the standard technology for building enterprise Web applications today, while Web 2.0 applications are quickly gaining popularity in the enterprise.

Because JSF builds Web applications out of reusable UI components, it's easy to add AJAX functionality to Web applications just by using rich JSF UI components. In fact, rich JSF UI components constitute the most powerful component-based approach for developing modern Web applications on the market today, allowing developers to efficiently create Rich Enterprise Internet applications.

This session will give a short introduction to JSF and then show how to use JBoss RichFaces (rich JSF component libraries) to add AJAX capabilities to JSF applications-without having to write a single line of JavaScript code in Red Hat Developer Studio.
